The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is federally required for students who plan to ever go to college. All colleges, universities and technical schools require it. More information about federal student aid is available at the FAFSA Frenzy night at EHS. This will take place on November 30th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. This is where our seniors and their families can come to the Media Center and have the FAFSA completed for them.
FAFSA Checklist:
- The Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID has replaced the PIN. The student and parent must both create a FSA ID. The FSA ID should be created prior to completing the FAFSA at fsaid.ed.gov.
- Gather all your information today (social security numbers, driver's license numbers, tax returns, other financial records including untaxed income, savings, investments, etc. for parents and the student.
- Get your FAFSA filled out ASAP after Oct. 1. Filling out the FAFSA is free at www.fafsa.gov. For assistancce, call 1-800-433-3243 or contact the college financial aid office.
- Follow up on your FAFSA. Once processed, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Review your SAR for corrections or updates.
