Facilities
The present 168,500 square-foot school was built on thirty-two acres of land, which students first occupied in January 1974. The building houses 37 classrooms, including a Media Center, commons area, and 13 Career and Technology Education classrooms.  EHS has a new music wing completed in 2016 which includes a band room, choral room, storage area and offices. Four wheelchair-accessible classrooms accommodate students with disabilities.  The athletic wing has an office for the Athletic Director, a concession stand area, a football office, a full gym, an auxiliary gym, boys and girls locker rooms, a football weight room, a general weight room, and a swimming pool which is used by both the students and community.

The football program practices and competes at the new Citizens Bank Stadium located at the high school, and the soccer programs utilize the field at T.A. Dugger Junior High. The baseball program utilizes Joe O'Brien Field. The acreage around the current building consists of a football stadium, track, softball field, indoor softball practice area, tennis courts, and a practice area for the band.
